About this project

ARPA Grant: $300,000 Approved: May 31, 2023 NHDES approved grant funding up to $300,000 for the Town of Atkinson to remediate per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) by extending water main from a public water system and providing service connections to identified properties that have been affected by aqueous film forming foams used by the Atkinson Fire Department. Grant funds will be used for the required environmental review, engineering design, construction of water main and service connections, decommissioning of contaminated wells and associated infrastructure, engineering design and construction phase observation and other associated eligible project costs.
