About this project
ARPA Grant: $288,000 Approved: August 23, 2023 NHDES approved grant funding for up to $288,000 for the Town of Kingston to install point of entry treatment (POET) systems to address per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) exceedances present within private drinking water wells. These water sources were affected by aqueous film forming foams used by the Kingston Fire Department. In addition, the Town will reimburse affected private well owners that proactively installed POET systems prior to the completion of the site investigation. Grant funds will be used for engineering and construction oversight, POET installation and associated infrastructure, approximately one year of operation and maintenance, and other associated eligible project costs.
