Total project cost: $15,800,000 ARPA Grant: $1,940,000 CWSRF Loan: $13,860,000 Approved: July 27, 2022 and October 19, 2022 The Town of Hampton will use $100,000 in ARPA grant funding to address noncompliance with discharge limits for total copper from the wastewater treatment facility. Planning work for this project will include a copper sampling assessment, chemical precipitation jar pilot testing, and the preparation of a copper sampling and reduction alternative summary report. The remaining grant and loan funding will be used to replace aging mechanical equipment and building systems and to add a new automated septage receiving process at its wastewater treatment facility.
